Be traditional- send a printed card!

cardenv_example

Card with envelope

I think I should have put that in my Etsy shop banner!
I know that many people send just an e-card, that very often gets lost in the recipient mailbox. How do I know that- because I receive those too and unfortunately see them only when I receive them. And I like to hold on to words sent to me by friends and family.  Those are almost like photographs to me- they contain very important memories for me, I like to look back at them, read them and remember that person who had sent it to me.

This is main reason, why I have introduced new product to my Etsy store: photo greeting cards.
They are blank inside, but can be customized, of course.
Printed on very nice, smooth in texture, 100% cotton archival paper.
I have to admit, I myself was really surprised how well those photographs look on this paper!!!

Please, visit my store and check out Cards section to see more- I am trying to add some new almost every day!

This Day

This quote is so true and so often we don’t realize it, wasting time on unnecessary stress, unnecessary pain, unnecessary words.

Friday Finds: Once Traveled

Today’s guest on my blog is Rosina, from Etsy store Once Traveled ( www.oncetraveled.etsy.com ) and her beautiful necklaces!

I think I was atracted by the original design and concept!
Have you ever thought to use old stamps in such a creative way? Collecting them in the albums was all I’ve ever done. I have seen them used in some scrapbooking creations.

From the store front:

“Isn’t it romantic to imagine where in the world a picturesque stamp has traveled? Was it on the envelope of a love letter? Maybe it delivered important news or documents. Or perhaps it carried a simple postcard from a vacationer. We’ll never know for sure, but now these beautiful stamps have a chance to tell a new story as a piece of beautiful jewelry art. Where will it travel next?”

Friday Finds- just a walk down the memory lane…

Today’s find has been chosen because of the location, where is has been created- meaning taken. Not only of course- the artistic values are hard to miss as well- composition and techniques definitely attract attention.

Gdansk is place, where some of my memories go. Where I have friend, where I have been, where very important part of my heritage comes from.

Please, visit Yann Pendaries Photography on Etsy to discover much more great European landscapes!

Friday Finds: Name Your Own Fortune

I don’t know about you… but I LOOOOVE sweets 🙂 Really, there is not many types of sweets I would say no to. Chocolate, cookies, cakes. Sweets make me smile and happy!

That’s why I have chosen for today’s feature a  seller, that makes me dream about sweets!
FancyThatCookies is my guest and it was really hard for me to choose just one product from her store.
I decided to go with something that has a message- Fortune Cookies: Name Your Own Fortune!

Name Your Own Fortune

Name Your Own Fortune

I have never really though about it, always expecting that fortune cookie has hidden message for me. But isn’t it great idea to send a message to someone in cookie like this?

Well, it can be very creative way to ask the most important question:

Name Your Own Fortune

Name Your Own Fortune

I don’t need to say more- I think those photos speak for them self.

My advice though is- please visit FancyThatCookies store on Etsy– you can find some very good looking (I haven’t tasted them yet)  brownies and tarts!

Make sure to read the store announcements: until the end of this month (it’s only week left- hurry!!!) you can get something extra with your order!
